Lead / Service Engineer

Reporting to

Project Manager

 Responsible for

  • Installation and maintenance of high end audio-visual and lighting control systems from 2nd fix termination through main install, commissioning to final handover to client.
  • Working throughout UK and abroad
  • On site management of projects
  • Fault finding and trouble shooting
  • Supervising junior engineers/subcontractors on site
  • Rack building in house unsupervised
  • Service calls to clients when required



  • Good general AV knowledge
  • Experience of Crestron, RTI and AMX
  • Some programming experience advantageous
  • Lutron Illumination and QS programming
  • Configuration and commissioning of complex AV systems
  • Solid network knowledge
  • 1st/2nd fix AV termination skills
  • Home cinema installation and set up
  • Ability to interpret drawings. Cable schematics, Component level schematics and technical drawings
  • Fault finding/diagnostic ability and problem solving
  • Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Clean Driving licence
  • Time management and meeting deadlines
  • Good team skills
  • Good personal management and admin skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a client facing role
  • The ability to use initiative as well as working as part of a team
